The Necela babies are home!

I just want to thank everyone for praying for Tom and Melissa's babies. Praise the Lord they are both home and doing quite well. I am sure that they could still continue to use your prayers though, as they adjust to life from 3 to 5 children. With 4 of them being 2 and under!! It will be fun to watch these babies grow into men.
And yes I know I still do not have any pictures. That's because on Christmas eve our camera died. I did not realize how much we used that thing until it was gone. Maybe I can get Melissa to email me a few pictures, or maybe I could get her to start a blog. Ya right .... in her spare time!?
Well, I better go spend some time with my hubby. This is the first Saturday he has not had to work for quite a while. Tah Tah.

Jacob and Jonah Necela

I have been waiting for a few days for a friend to email me some pictures, but I just couldn't wait any longer. I would love to introduce to you Jacob and Jonah Necela. Born on December 29, 2005, at 9:21 and 9:28, weighing in at 5.1 and 5.6. All in that order.
Melissa did a great job bringing her boys into this world. I can not even imagine pushing out two babies, but she did amazingly well.
Please pray for them though. They were born at 35 6/7 weeks, not to early but early enough to need a little extra care. Pray that Tom and Melissa can hold them more. The hospital staff will not let them hold them for longer than 20 minutes. They say that it stresses them out. Not quite sure where they come up with that logic, but I am not a neonatologist either. Pray that Melissa can nurse Jonah. It is really hard to wake him up for his feedings, so he has been getting a bottle. Jonah is completely off of oxygen and is actually doing pretty good. Pray that Jacob can have his feeding tube removed and go off of the oxygen. He seems a little more eager to nurse than Jonah, but as of today they will not let her yet because of the feeding tube. Also pray that they can come home soon. This is Tom and Melissa's first hospital birth, and it has been hard on everyone. They are away from their other children and everything is really starting to take it's toll. Although they are doing pretty well. Pray that they can all come home soon and be together as one BIG happy family!
I will post pictures as soon as I get them.
I am so proud of you Melissa. You are amazing. And Thank you for letting me witness yet again another one of your miraculous births. I am so privileged.
